Quick guidance on replacing smart lock batteries after a low-battery alert to help prevent lockouts on Schlage smart locks.
If your smart door lock is showing a low battery warning, please replace the batteries as soon as possible to avoid getting locked out of your apartment.
🔧 You’ll need four (4) AA batteries for the replacement.

⚠️ Important: To prevent lockouts, batteries should be replaced promptly after a low-battery alert. Lockout service caused by battery failure may result in a service charge.
